Goal

The existing website and branding failed to connect with the emotional journey experienced by individuals dealing with addiction in their families. Our goal was to craft a brand and website that empathetically addressed the challenges and emotions of our target audience, offering a beacon of hope amidst difficult circumstances.

Result

By leveraging user-centric design principles and empathetic branding strategies, we successfully transformed TheHopeHouse.com into a relatable and hopeful platform for individuals seeking support for their loved ones' addiction struggles. Traffic Increase: Within the first five months of launching the new website, we experienced a remarkable 220% increase in website traffic. Admissions Growth: The number of admissions to The Hope House increased by 150% following the website redesign.

Brand Research, Moodboard, and Logo Creation: Conducted extensive research to understand the emotional landscape of families affected by addiction. Developed moodboards to explore visual themes and crafted a logo that symbolized hope and support. The logo is the touchstone of The Hope House brand. It is a combination of growth, hope, happiness, togetherness, and feeling whole. This design was inspired by the shape of a tree and leaves as well as the shape of a person reaching out and upward.

Branding Guidelines: Established comprehensive branding guidelines that defined the brand voice, color palette, typography, imagery style, and overall visual identity.

Web Design Research: Researched best practices in web design for emotional and supportive content. Explored competitors, web layouts for educational content, color schemes, and interactive elements that foster empathy and engagement.

User Persona Profiles for Website: Developed detailed user personas representing the needs, goals, and pain points of our target audience. Used these personas to inform design decisions throughout the project.

Site Map and User Flows: Created a clear site map and user flows to ensure intuitive navigation and logical user journeys through the website.

Wireframes: Designed wireframes to outline the structure and layout of key pages, focusing on content hierarchy and user interaction.

Hi-Fi Designs and Stakeholder Approval Process: Developed high-fidelity designs incorporating brand elements and user-centered features. Engaged stakeholders in an iterative design review process to gather feedback and refine the designs.

UI Kit and Component Development: Finalized the project with a comprehensive UI kit, documenting design components and variables for consistent application across all webpages and future updates.
