Goal

Beginning from scratch without existing data, we conducted extensive research and leveraged third-party resources to collaborate effectively with research and development teams.

Result

As the Visual Design Manager for Bestway, our objective was to develop an intuitive e-commerce platform that streamlined ordering processes, maintained accurate inventory communication with our warehouse, facilitated product part discovery, and enabled customers to locate products in partner stores like Walmart, Target, Sam's Club, and Costco using the "Buy Now" feature.

Conducted competitive analysis of industry leaders including Intex, Funboy, and Polygroup to understand market benchmarks.

Identified competitive features and key functionalities from Intex, Funboy, and Polygroup to inform our design decisions.

Conducted user persona research, focusing on females aged 31-40, to tailor the platform to our target audience.

During the design process, we formulated concise problem statements and "How Might You" (HMU) statements to pinpoint user journey challenges, enabling us to ideate effective solutions and design features that align with user expectations and behaviors, ultimately guiding a user-centered approach to website development.

Developed wireframes to outline and refine the cart flow, ensuring a streamlined user experience and clear navigation paths through the checkout process.

Crafted high-fidelity designs based on wireframes to visualize and refine the cart flow, focusing on aesthetic elements, interaction design, and user interface details.

Implemented the "Buy Now" feature into the cart flow, leveraging PriceSpider integration to allow users to purchase out-of-stock items seamlessly and efficiently within Bestway's e-commerce platform.
